Existing home sales rose on the local, state and national levels last month. The Columbus Realtors trade association says sales rose by 10 percent over January, despite fewer homes on the market. The Ohio Association of Realtors says sales statewide rose by 5.3 percent from February of last year. The National Association of Realtors says U.S. sales rose by 4.7 percent from February of the previous year to a seasonally adjusted rate of 4.88 million. Central Ohio homes sold for a median price of 150 thousand dollars, 11.4 percent higher than a year ago. Nationally, the median sale price last month was 7.5 percent higher than in February of 2014.
