Union County Sheriff's deputies are being equipped with the opiate overdose antidote Naloxone. Deputies say there have been 10 cases of people overdosing on heroin or other opiates so far this year, and they expect more. The Ohio Department of Health says more than 21 hundred people died of accidental drug overdoses in 2013. Three-quarters involved opioids like heroin. A new state law has widened access to the antidote.
