Ohio State University says an unofficial marching band song that made fun of Holocaust victims is the type of thing it has pledged to eradicate from the program. The Wall Street Journal reports the lyrics are contained in a 2012 version of the band's unofficial songbook. Other versions of the songbook had circulated privately among band members over the years. An independent investigation revealed the existence of the song last year but not the lyrics. Marching band director Jon Waters was fired last year after OSU found he ignored a "sexualized culture" within the band. Waters says he never saw the songbook and calls the lyrics repulsive.
