A Gahanna man was sentenced today to four years in prison for causing a drunken-driving crash that killed one pedestrian and injured another. 33-year-old Scott Haselhurst must also pay restitution. Prosecutors say the Franklin County Jail guard had a blood alcohol level more than three times the legal limit when he crossed a center line on Appian Way north, drove onto a roadway shoulder and hit two people. A 59-year-old woman died, and a 41-year-old man was seriously hurt. Haselhurst pleaded guilty to multiple charges in July. His conviction means Haselhurst will have his driver's license suspended for life.
