Ohio's unemployment rate has fallen to its lowest level since 2001. The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services says the unemployment rate for July is 5 percent, down three-tenths of a point from June. The agency credits an increase in hiring by state and local governments. Ohio had 286-thousand unemployed workers in July, down by 10 thousand from June. The service, manufacturing and construction sectors saw the biggest job losses last month.
