Cops Who Killed Short North Posse Member Will Not Face Charges

A Franklin County grand jury has declined to indict three officers in the fatal shooting of a suspected leader of the Short North Posse gang. Prosecutors say one Columbus police officer and two State Highway Patrol troopers opened fire on 33-year-old Jermonte Fletcher in January when they attempted to arrest him and he fired a weapon.  Fletcher  was indicted in December 2013 on drug and weapons charges.
