Columbus' Violent Crime Rate Down

The City of Columbus say this week that the number of violent crimes fell by 3 percent last year, as compared with 2013. During the first six months of the year, the city says the homicide rate fell by 9.6 percent. City officials credit various crime reduction programs. The figures are being released seven weeks before the City Council and Mayoral elections.
