A west Columbus man is awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to his role in a fatal home invasion style robbery attempt in 2012. 30-year-old Mickey Velazquez has pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter charges in the death of Brandon Leonard. Prosecutors say Velazquez was one of four men charged in the attack that was staged to look like a police raid.
