Local Motorist Gets Nine Years For Killing Bicyclist

Licking County Sheriff's Office

A Canal Winchester motorist has been sentenced to nine years in prison for killing a bicyclist in Granville last August. Prosecutors say 36-year-old Joseph Knott was intoxicated when he struck and killed 23-year-old Logan Snedeker. Prosecutors say Knott was arrested after fleeing the scene, and he failed a field sobriety test. The family of the victim has filed a wrongful death lawsuit.
