OSU Expands Available Financial Aid

Ohio State University is expanding the amount of financial aid available for needy students by another 20 million dollars. The grants will go to nearly 16 thousand undergraduates next year, including 3 thousand at Ohio State's regional campuses. It brings the total investment in the Affordability Grant program to 35 million dollars over two years. The program is part of a larger effort that includes an ongoing freeze on tuition and mandatory fees for in-state undergraduates. Last year, the school announced a 400 million dollar commitment over five years to lower student costs.
