The attorney representing the City of Circleville and its fire department is asking a judge to dismiss a sexual harassment lawsuit filed by a former female firefighter. Amie Morningstar was fired after not reporting to work when she used up her personal leave. She says she was subjected to equipment tampering, clothing destruction, gender-related slurs and was required to meet tougher training and work standards than male counterparts. She also claims she was denied promotions because of her gender. The city denies the allegations.
