Elmer's Cutting Some Local Jobs, Shift Others Out Of State

Westerville-based Elmer's Products Incorporated is cutting 40 local jobs and shipping 50 more out of state as part of the glue maker's acquisition by Newell Rubbermaid. Two-dozen people will remain at the company's former headquarters in Westerville. Elmer's history in the area goes back to the 1850s as part of the Borden dairy company.
