FBI: No Link To Terrorism Found In Local Restaurant Attack

Columbus Division of Police

The FBI says it has been unable to find any evidence suggesting a machete attack at a North Hamilton Road restaurant owned by an Israeli native was orchestrated terrorism. The agency found no information that 30-year-old attacker Mohamed Barry of Guinea was working with or directed by anyone in the February 11 incident at the Nazareth Restaurant and Deli. Agents don't know a motive for the attack that injured four people. Barry was later shot and killed by police.
