Columbus fire investigators say the January 21 apartment fire in Franklinton that killed two young boys was started by one of the victims. Fire officials say 5-year-old Keenyn Harrell started the fire that claimed his life and that of his 4-year-old brother Kentley Butcher by playing with a lighter. Fire officials say Harrell was a special-needs child. Investigators say the child's mother told them Harrell had a history of playing with lighters, and she did everything she could to change his behavior. The mother and an 11-month-old child escaped the fire in the 800 block of West Town Street unharmed.
