Teen Sentenced To Prison, Lifetime Driving Ban For Death Of Friend

A Butler County judge on Wednesday sentenced 18-year old Tristan Lacey to six years behind bars and a lifetime driving suspension for the Dec. 26 crash that killed 18-year-old Mark Valentine in West Chester.

Lacey pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide last month.  Authorities say Lacey was driving at speeds of 11- mph when he lost control and hit a tree. Police say Lacey's blood-alcohol level was 0.106 percent after the crash.  Lacey says Valentine was like a brother to him and apologized to his family at his sentencing.
