Man Charged With Making Bomb Threat At Local Honda Plant

Union County Sheriff's Office

A Bellefontaine man is scheduled to appear in court today to face charges of writing a bomb threat at the Honda plant in Marysville earlier this week. Union County Sheriff's deputies say 30-year-old Jeffery Martinez was working as a contractor at the plant when he scribbled the threat on a restroom wall. No explosives were found. He is charged with inducing panic.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
