Explosive Materials Found In East Columbus Home

Columbus police and the FBI are investigating an apparent bomb-making operation on the east side. The probe started yesterday after an explosion inside a South Hampton Road home caused a man to lose one of his hands. Police at first thought it was a meth lab until chemicals used in homemade explosives were discovered. The man's name has yet to be released.
