Study: Columbus' Middle Class Population Has Declined In The Last 14 Years

A new study by the Pew Research Center shows the population of the middle class in the Columbus metro area fell nearly 7 percent from 2000 and 2014, to less than 52-percent. The lower and upper income populations each rose more than three-percent over the same period. The middle class is described as three-person households with incomes between 42 thousand and 125 thousand dollars a year.
