A former Ohio State University marching band drum major instructor accused of sexually assaulting a female student changed his plea yesterday before the start of his trial. Stewart Kitchen pleaded guilty to assaulting the 19-year-old woman in his Columbus home after a night of drinking in April 2015. Sentencing is scheduled for June 29. Kitchen was indicted less than a year after Ohio State fired the band's director for allegedly ignoring a sexualized band culture.
