Newark Woman Pleads Not Guilty In Custody-Related Arson Case

Newark Police

A Newark woman accused of trying to frame her estranged husband by setting her house on fire has pleaded not guilty.  39-year-old Amy Wilson faces arson, tampering with records and insurance fraud charges. Police say Wilson admitted setting  fire to the home in February and manipulating text messages to make it appear her husband was to blame. Prosecutors say Wilson was attempting to gain full custody of her three daughters.
