Dayton Schools Have A New Leader

Indianapolis City Schools

The Dayton school board has chosen Rhonda Corr to be the district's next superintendent. Corr spent the past year as academic improvement officer in the Indianapolis schools. She also spent 25 years as a teacher and administrator in the Cleveland and Chicago schools. Corr was hired after the district failed to reach a new contract agreement with former superintendent Lori Ward.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
