The Ohio Department of Transportation now says the closed I-270 southbound ramp to westbound U.S. Route 33 on the north side will reopen tomorrow, weather permitting. The ramp was closed last night out of concern it might collapse under heavy rainfall. In a statement this morning, ODOT says a contractor will physically move or re-align the ramp by adding pavement. The statement says the contractor will work around the clock to ensure the ramp is open by Friday morning. But ODOT says rain could delay the opening.
