Delaware County health officials are investigating Zoombezi Bay water park after 19 patrons reported stomach issues. Officials are investigating whether the patrons contracted cryptosporidiosis, a disease caused by a parasite. Most of the people experienced symptoms over a 17 day period in July and the water park raised chlorine levels in the pools to ten times their normal level on July 20th to eradicate the parasite.
