A man will serve 15 years in prison for firing at Columbus police officers during a drug raid in April 2015. 20-year-old Scott Dixon Junior pleaded guilty to charges of firing at officers from the back door of an Avondale Avenue home as they were entering the front door with a search warrant. No one was injured. Dixon told detectives he thought the house was being robbed.
