Mayor, Former CCS Board Member Sending Daughter To Private School

Columbus Mayor and former Columbus School Board member Andy Ginther is sending his 6-year-old daughter to a private school in Upper Arlington. Ginther tells Columbus Monthly magazine it's in the best interest of his family. Ginther's two predecessors, Greg Lashutka and Michael Coleman, also sent their kids to private schools. Ginther highlighted his ties to the Columbus Schools during his State of the City speech in February. It was delivered at his alma mater, Whetstone High School.
