Three current or former Franklin County residents have been charged with securities fraud. A grand jury has indicted Mary Hackney, Phillip Curtis and Lovell Jones on 19 counts of taking investment money from clients and using it to cover personal expenses. Prosecutors say the trio operated Hackney Consulting Group. They allegedly solicited money between September 2011 and February 2013 from six investors in Ohio, Kansas and North Carolina.
