Charges Filed In Deaths Of Local Softball Team Members

Florida Highway Patrol

The Florida Highway Patrol has charged a motorist with causing a weekend crash that killed four members of a Columbus softball team. 21-year-old Cody Shirah is charged with driving without a license and negligent manslaughter. Shirah is accused of running a stop sign near Panama City and crashing into a minivan carrying team members in town for a tournament.  33-year-old team member Joshua Martin died on Monday.
