Dog Shelter Officials Say Distemper Outbreak Is Over

wikipedia

Franklin County Dog Shelter officials say the distemper outbreak is over. Officials say they'll reopen the facility for adoptions today after tests on nearly 140 dogs came back negative. More than 80 dogs were euthanized to prevent the disease from spreading. Nearly three-dozen dogs will be available for adoption.
