Former ONG Major Appeals Sexual Assault Convition

A former Ohio National Guard Major from Marysville is appealing his conviction of sexually abusing three adopted daughters. The attorney for 43-year-old Jean Kruse says the court wrongly denied him funding for an expert witness and the evidence didn't support the conviction. He also is claiming he had ineffective legal counsel. He was sentenced to life in prison but denied abusing the girls. His wife Emily, who was sentenced to 18 months for obstruction, testified she never saw signs of abuse.
