A Columbus man will serve 14 years in prison for his role in a home invasion that led to the death of his accomplice last January. 21-year-old Jawaun Pitts previously pleaded guilty in the death of 21-year-old Brandon Pollard. Prosecutor say the two broke into a North Linden home, and an occupant exchanged gunfire with Pitts. Pollard was killed during the shootout.
