A Newark woman has been charged with causing a fatal traffic crash last spring. Authorities say 24-year-old Emily Kiger crashed into a pickup truck at West Main and Union Streets last May, killing the truck's driver, 66-year-old David Ehlermann. Prosecutors say her blood-alcohol level tested at more than twice the legal limit. She has been placed on house arrest.
