Ohio-Born Police Officer Dies In Line Of Duty

Nashville Police

A Nashville, Tennessee police officer from central Ohio died yesterday during a water rescue.  Eric Mumaw drowned while trying to help a suicidal woman along the Cumberland River. He was was a 1991 graduate of Westerville South High School and served as a reserve Westerville police officer before moving to Nashville.
