Group Wants City To Issue ID Cards

A campaign is underway to create a municipal identification program in Columbus.  A group called One ID Columbus has launched a grassroots effort to help residents prove their identity with photo ID cards, similar to those used in New York City, Detroit and Baltimore.  The cards would be offered to people who are unable to get state-issued identification cards.
