Franklin County Voters Approve Senior Services Levy

coaaa.org

Franklin County voters yesterday approved a five-year tax levy to fund services for senior citizens.  The levy will generate 34.6 million dollars a year. It will cost the owner of a 100 thousand dollar home an addition 40 dollars a year. The U.S. Census Bureau says nearly 20 percent of Franklin County residents will be age 60 or older by 2020.
