Franklin County prosecutors have charged six local scrap yards with failing to follow a Columbus law regarding scrap metal sales. Prosecutors say G-Cor Automotive, New World Recycling, Masser Metals, Sims Brothers Recycling, PSC Metals and A-Z Recycling purchased prohibited or stolen property, and failed to maintain proper documentation about the sellers. The charges follow a yearlong undercover investigation.
