More Ohioans will be traveling 50 miles or more from home this Memorial Day weekend than last year. The American Automobile Association says nearly 1.5 million Ohioans will be on the road, the third consecutive yearly increase and the busiest holiday weekend since 2005. Overall, 39 million Americans will be traveling, with 88 percent taking road trips. Spokesperson Tamara Johnson.
Johnson says travelers will be paying more for gasoline, airfare and other services.
