Longest-Serving Dayton City Commissioner Passes Away

Funeral arrangements are pending for former Dayton City Commissioner Dean Lovelace. He died on Sunday, nearly two years after health problems forced him to leave office. Lovelace holds the record for the longest tenure on the city commission, with 22 years served over six terms.  
 

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
