U.S. Air Force officials can't say what caused a Thunderbirds F-16 jet to flip over during preparations for the Dayton Air Show on Friday at the Dayton Airport. The Thunderbirds' commander says both people on board the jet are in good condition after being taken to a local hospital. The pilot and a passenger were doing a routine flyover, and had to be removed from the plane following the crash. Captain Erik Gonsalves is the pilot, and the passenger is Technical Sergeant Kenneth Cordova. The Thunderbirds will not fly Saturday, and Sunday's performance is still uncertain. Gusts of wind from a line of severe storms that hit much of Ohio were reported at the airport when the crash occured.
