An Athens County woman has pleaded guilty to a Medicaid fraud scheme that prosecutors say resulted in 2 million dollars worth of bogus claims. 49-year-old Cheryl McGrath admits to operating a home health care business. Prosecutors say she filed false Medicaid claims for services that weren't rendered, including for people in nursing homes or who were dead. A plea agreement calls for McGrath to pay 2.2 million dollars in restitution to Medicaid and 367 thousand dollars to the IRS for the unpaid taxes.
