Appeals Court Rules Against ECOT In State Funding Fight

An Ohio appeals court has rejected arguments by the state's largest online charter school operator that the Ohio Department of Education illegally changed criteria to adjust funding for the 2015-16 school year. State officials contend  the Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow failed to provide documentation of student participation to justify 60 million dollars in state funding. An ECOT spokesperson says the school hopes to get a fair hearing from the Ohio Supreme Court.
