The Ohio Department of Education will assume oversight of two charter schools originally overseen by the Reynoldsburg City Schools. The Ohio Board of Education has accepted a hearing officer’s recommendation that Virtual Community School and A-plus Arts Academy should be sponsored next school year by the state. The state rated the district as a poor sponsor last fall.
