Work is underway on a new I-71 overhaul project. Ohio Department of Transportation officials say the three-year, 113 million dollar "South Side Mega Fix" project will widen 71 from State Route 315 to Stringtown Road. Crews will also replace five bridges and build two noise walls. The project is expected to be completed in 2020.
