A Columbus firefighter is recovering from injuries sustained battling a fire at a closed north side hotel last night. The cause of the fire at the former Ramada Inn on Sinclair Road is considered suspicious in nature. The firefighter needed stitches, but officials did not say how he was hurt. His name has not been released.
