The volunteer firefighter in Franklin Township who made a racist social media post has resigned. Tyler Roysdon resigned yesterday, a week after he was suspended indefinitely for posting that he would save a dog from a burning building before he saved a black man. The post also contained a racial slur. A disciplinary hearing was scheduled for next week.
