Kirkersville police chief Jeff Finley announced at last night's city council meeting that he is resigning.
Finley says Mayor Terry Ashcraft threatened his job several times. Ashcraft has declined comment. Finley took over in October for Steven DiSario, who was shot and killed last year while responding to a gunman who also killed two employees of a nursing home. Two other officers have also resigned.
