A Columbus man has been sentenced to five years in prison for killing a construction worker while driving impaired on I-70 near Hilliard-Rome Road last September.
Prosecutors say Edward Torres was high on drugs and alcohol when he struck and killed 59-year-old Steve Cook. Torres will also serve three years' probation after his release.
