Franklin County Sheriff's deputies and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force this past Tuesday executed a search warrant at the home of a Columbus Police sergeant who was relieved of duty.
The public records show that was the same day Dean Worthington turned in his badge and gun. Authorities are still not providing details about the nature of their criminal investigation. Worthington has not been charged.
