The Ohio Department of transportation says work on the southbound lanes of I-270 near Roberts Road on the west side will begin Sunday.
The left lane of 270 south will cross through a break in the barrier wall and continue as "express lane" to I-70. For I-70 east and west, motorists will need to stay right. The center lane is for trucks, and can either continue on I-270 or exit to I-70. The traffic pattern is expected to be in place for a month, weather permitting.
