Former Cleveland Indians manager and coach Doc Edwards has died at the age of 81 at his home in Texas.
Edwards was a major league catcher who went on to manage the Indians for three seasons in the 1980s. The former U.S Navy Corpsman began his major league playing career with Cleveland in the 1960s.
