acluohio.org

The motorist convicted of causing the accident that killed an ACLU of Ohio employee last year in Columbus has been setenced to 17-and-a-half years in prison.

28-year-old Brima Kamara was driving without a license when Kamara crashed into a vehicle driven by 35-year-old Adrienne Gavula at North High Street and Arcadia Avenue. Gavula was killed in the crash. No explanation was offered in court for Kamrara's erratic driving that the police report said preceded the crash.
